c. 1700 Sanskrit Double-sided Ink and Watercolor Leaf from Horoscope chipmunks target ) As a genreI'm happy when I find things accompanied by some specific information about them (how rare!); in the case of this Sanskrit manuscript page, a label on the mat I found with it dates it to around 1700, and identifies it as a leaf from a Brahmin's horoscope. Nice to know, at least abstractly, what is being charted here and that glorious orange and yellow suggests lots of fire:) but to this Western eye, uneducated in reading Sanskrit, it's a formally
