2025 Venica & Venica Pinot Grigio 'Jesera' Collio, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy Les Vins Pirouettes ambient yeast fermentation in stainlessMost of the Pinot Grigio comes from a two hectare single vineyard named "Jesera" but is also is sourced from four other neighboring vineyards. "Jesera" translates to "little lake" in Slovenian and the name of the wine is a reference to the vineyard being at the bottom of a valley next to a stream. The Pinot Grigio's color comes from a prolonged maceration, some vintages up to 24 hours. Around 10% of wine is aged in large barrels (20 27 hectoliter)
